  • fuckin white slag i hate them so much when i see something like this

  • i wonder how you have such guts to argue this...none of you know anything from history's past for you only dwell on hearsay...only the people who could even afford access to tools to record things down is the only evidence there is...there is no second party hence. So put a seal over your hypocritical lips

  • The Atlantic slavery trade lasted 300 years. The Islamic trading of Africans lasted 1,300 years. For example, at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth the Sultan of Qatar proudly displayed 50 African slaves in London and wondered what the fuss was about, when some newspapers reported it. It is also well-known that the African male slaves were castrated by the Moors.

The Moors were not impressed with Timbuktu or whatever (why should they be?) and to this day call black Africans "abid"or slaves

  • The Ancient Greeks and the Ancient Egyptians wouldn't even have known of West Africa, let alone "copy manuscripts" from there

  • Timbuktu was no Athens, Alexandria, Florence or whatever. Timbuktu is famous for its mud-built Islamic schools and mosques which originated (together with knowledge of Quran and Arabic ) through invasions from the Moors (Amazigh people and Arabs) It was also famous for its huge slave market. When the slave market moved to the coast Timbuktu sank into oblivion. At most it had only 30,000 people anyway

  • @EuroCivilization Negus/Nagas/Negast are variations of the same word.

  • @EuroCivilization This is ridiculous discourse. Why would I argue with another Naga about European history?

  • @42TALIYAH

I keep on hoping to see something written in any West African language at the time illustrating the efforts of these "architects, physicians, navigators, scholars"

I mean we have the works of the Greek scholars 1,300 years before all written down Appolonius, Erasistratus, Archimedes, Aristarcus of Samos,Hipparchus etc.

We YEARN to see evidence of these achievments, of anything not built of mud

Nagas have nothing to do with Africa, let alone West Africa. Nagas is a Sanskrit word. Negus refers to Amharic royalty, again nothing to do with West Africa.

The people who "were trying to capture fire" had built Venice hundreds of years before they were buying West African slaves from West Africans. They had built the Roman Empire a thousand years before that and had been immersed in Greek culture, the basis of modern civilization. Everything about you is European

  • @EuroCivilization Negroes/Negus/Nagas in West Africa were kings, architects, physicians, navigators, scholars... while Europeans, the people dwelling in the land named for the Naga Goddess Europa, were trying to figure out how to capture fire. Educating yourself on truth is a choice. Just like choosing to degrade someone with rude, ignorant comments. Thanks to truth, I am higher than you and your simple, one dimensional thoughts.
