  • 1:03 starts the part as used in the Less Than Jake song "All My Best Friends are Metalheads"

  • Although i do not agree with a draft in any way, shape, or form, and i am totally against all of our current wars, which are doing nothing but pushing a corrupt globalist agenda at the behest of the corporate and socialist controled U.N.., But, I do soo like the rest of this recording !!!, as there are far too many idiot eco-nut, liberal, democrats who are willingly sacrificing America's Sovereignty, Rights, Freedoms, and Liberty. I will never comply with any form of global government !!!.

  • @candymanal "Aren't you young people proud that someone else fought and died, so you can belittle them openly and without fear of repercussions?"

Pentagon Papers, been out there for decades, Please read them and find out why vietnam was fought.

Also, I have never read of any veterans outside of VVAW fighting COINTELPRO or any of that shit that ACTUALLY threatened freedom.

  • JUST MADE IT... In 1967 "An Open Letter To My Teenage Son" peaked at No. 10 thus just making the Billboard's Top 10 and it spent a total of 6 weeks in the Top 100...

Entered the Top 100 on November 11th, 1967 at #84, then jumped to #58, then #18, and then spent two weeks at #10, fell to #22 and the following week it was completely of the chart...

A group named 'Every Father's Teenage Son' released an answer record in Nov. 1967 titled "A Letter To Dad", it reached No. 93...

  • Why dont all you War Critics take the same look at Professional Sports, Politicians, Malingering, entitlements, Free Loading and Sponging off Society. And, your wasting your time on the Anonymous Internet prattle. And get a real good look at Obama....if you can see and think. Your time would be better spent looking for a few good Politicians and limiting their benefits and terms.

  • End wars for profit! Wake up America! Not all wars are just and justifiable! The last war that needed to be fought was WW2! Occupy Wall Street! Occupy your own minds!

  • @shirleymae30 Well said!!! Long live TRUE, GENUINE LIBERTY....Death to tyranny in all forms!!!

  • A few facts on Vic Lundberg. His own war career and commitment to his nation was less than sterling...after trying to fake a leg disability to avoid going to Korea, Lundberg managed to wangle a cushy post at one of the MASH units, but shat his pants and had a nervous breakdown two days into his tour. Lundberg was invalided home, and spent the next ten years telling everyone he'd been wounded in action, using an appendix scar from his teens as 'proof'. A drunk, stupid, lying hypocrite.

  • What threat did the North Vietnamese pose to the American free enterprise system? They actually gave the military-industrial complex a great way to make money an advance careers...

  • Brilliant, simply amazing. If people gave more speeches like this and more parents tried to instill in their children these values, then maybe our country would be in a better shape. This guy was a genius.

  • I will say one thing about this lyrics, at least they contain morals and convictions. Can anyone deny that?Maybe from a different time, but still sounds damn good to me.

To stand for anything less, requires a certain loss of freedoms and values.

Aren't you young people proud that someone else fought and died, so you can belittle them openly and without fear of repercussions?

Hey. I too, was a draft dodger.

    I ENLISTED!

  • "your mother will love you not matter what, becasue SHE IS A WOMAN" he may have been against racism and ageism but apparently not sexism.
