Bonfire Night 2010

Just some footage from Bonfire Night on November 5th 2010 at my local park, it was a great firework display, it always is! Kudos to them...

For anybody who doesn't know what Bonfire Night is, it's an English Tradition where every year we basically light a big fire and burn an artificial wooden model of a man named "Guy Fawkes". This is because in 1605 he tried to blow up the 'house of lords' with 36 barrels of gun powder in an attempt to assassinate the king! So we celebrate the fact he got captured before igniting the powder and thus failed to kill the king! We literally celebrate his EPIC FAIL! A very old but nice tradition where everybody comes out, has a laugh and enjoys the show.
