It does save a lot of money, I love not having to worry about parking, but New York's transit system cost the same and runs much better, perhaps Chicago can learn something.

CTA has a lot of problems. i take it every day for an hour to work. But bottom line is they save me alot of money. i pay the monthly unlimited bus/train $75 a month. I save about $500 to $700 a month if i was to go out and get a car. That you can take to the bank!
