  • @45vincentconnolly if this isb true then I understand but I have not heard of any such problem. I will call the AKF today.

  • @jiggahippo I heard he suffers from Chron's disease, Its an auto immune disorder that causes inflammation of the intestines. A lot of the drugs you take to control it cause bloating and metabolic changes. I guess hes' gotta keep taking them if he's going to travel and teach for a living.

  • Jeff Speakman is the ultimate martial artist...I'm happy he styed with it.

Keep up the great job... Jeff !

  • Glad 2 c you are still in the arts i remember when parker anounced at internatonals u were helping to promote kenpo dont give up :)

  • GOOD GOD! Jeff u got so fat! what the hell happend? I realize age gets to us all but DAMN! I would love to help u lose that fat and get back into shape.

  • The dummy in this demo look do familiar!

  • @TheMrsilence I respectfully disagree. Like the saying in my Gym goes: "IT'S NOT JUST WHAT YOU KNOW IT'S HOW YOU TRAIN". I have Kenpo videos of me doing Kenpo techs and you can see immediately and realisitcally that the techs work against complete and total resistance if you train functionally like I do.

  • @ATACXGYM No, the Dog Brothers don't disprove me... I'd like to see video evidence of them disarming live blades in actual situations. If you are getting cut open trying to disarm a person, it's not a tech I'd rely on, because I'd rather just cut the other person open. If you like taking cuts and bleeding out to get a disarm, that's on you. It's not a smart way to go and anyone that does knife training should know that.

  • @nomamao Actually there are centuries of documented instances from Zululand to parts of Hindustan to the Fillipino Islands to fencing duels etc etc wherein history records armed skilled opponents being disarmed. Oftentimes both or more parties are injured in the process, and that's to be expected;nobody debated whether or not you'd get cut disarming a skilled foe. You said:"Knife disarms just don't work. Period." Wrong. Period.Centuries of history and YES THE DOG BROTHERS disprove you.

  • @ATACXGYM lol. So, the dog brothers are disarming live blades and not getting cut? I'd love to witness that. Video? PKT's basic element is that you always train to fight TRAINED opponents. Let's see all the cool knife disarms that are done on live blades with people trying to really attack you and it's not going to happen; the evidence doesn't lie. People will get cut more often than not.
