Well, What I said was a joke in all entirety. Kind of... To me it's the only ACTUAL song in the game. The other i hear is just beeping, No music at all, or That other extremely repetitive song.

No, as you explore there are others, but this is the best one. The other is in the area far to the east, but it really sounds like something of the Zelda Oracle soundtrack ^_^" Like it can't decide its own theme. But this is among the best Metroid music IMO.

You can hear it on the demo disc for Prime 2, in the Metroid timeline. There's also the Metroid Metal version of the song, which is awesome as well.

The game has aged very well to for me aswell. It has trimed down the health and missile grinding alot plus the game even in black and white is very nicely animated.

The first original metroid not so much, its not a bad game its just the lack of no map the stupid grinding for health n ammo really holds the game back but this was when in the 80's people had so much time to grind points or master very tough games.

Still love this sweet song.
