Chester, Nova Scotia doesn't slow down in the winter. We had a wonderful gala in the Captain's house with many musicians and artists gathering to celebrate our community art center.
I cut a little video together of the highlights from the event at the Captain's house. It was a magical event with an incredible display of talent from Barry Redmond and his band featuring John Cahill on violin, Cynthia and Tom Myers, and Jean Nash on Accordion. This was followed by Holly Carr, who did a live painting on a large piece of silk while John, Barry, and Tom accompanied her. A rare opportunity to see this kind of performance art. The evening was topped off by Chester's own Juno award winning Chris Luedecke (Old Man Luedecke) performing many great tunes.
