This video is part 1 of 2. It demonstrates how to create thickened dye using Superclear dye thickener and Procion MX dyes.

Part 2 demonstrates how to screen print with thickened dyes using thermofax screens.

I sell the screens and the paint featured in the video in my etsy shop here:

  • Hi, Lynn, I enjoyed the video and hope to be ordering some screens from you soon. I just checked, and Dharma Trading is totally out of Superclear... did you know? They are having trouble finding one of the ingredients, and don't know how long it will be before they can come up with a substitute! I'm trying sodium alginate again... hope to be able to use it instead, then I can get busy with screen designs!
