  • (Insert comment pointlessly arguing why either ford or chevy is better)

  • @Beastb15 and if your replying to my most recent post 2 months ago, thats torque im talking about. 3k "ft" lbs of torque not towing idiot.

  • @Beastb15 the f450 is clearly a bigger truck? 1 1/2 ton truck compared to a 1 ton? how do those numbers even match up 1900 more towing capacity and its a bigger truck lol, 2 completely different trucks idiot, and towing capacity of the f450 isnt 24400, thats the max 5th wheel. the towing capacity is 17500 on the f450 and on ram 4500 its 17800 lbs try again, this time make yourself look 1/2 way smart or research.

  • @EvokeDawn Actually you putz, the 2012 Powerstroke makes 800 ft-lbs of torque as well. The 2012 F-450 has a towing capacity of 24,400 lbs. The 2012 3500 is 22,500. So, it looks like Ford didn't need "luck" getting there.

  • I love listening to brand biased commenters. Tug of wars are the hardest competions to guess who's going to win. It has nothing to do with the badge on the front of the grill. It also has nothing to do with how much horsepower you have, or strictly how much traction you have. It's a combination of traction and power. It's how much torque and horsepower you can make WHILE maintaining traction. You want a horespower contest, then go to the dyno. You want a race, well go to the drag strip.

  • @14omega28ok lol ok i was talking stock bed guy, and 3k ft lbs, yea, your not gonna get any light/medium pickup to that, but good luck :)

  • @edthetallguy Yeah actually thats possible. Though I was refering too a steam traction engine, saying if you want true to the bone pulling power thats where its at lol

  • @14omega28ok No, I was referring to the 3000 ft/lbs @ 250 RPM torque figure

  • @edthetallguy Yes, I've had 10,000 pounds on it. It is made of 1 in - 1 1/2 in thick steel. and does weigh in at nearly 2,000 pounds.

  • @14omega28ok You sure you got your numbers right?
