1/13/08: the yearly tow in classic held in Lincoln City Oregon, waves had swells as big as 40'. Pretty awesome & unique to the area!! [no sound cuz used my binoculars] my crappy vid does NOT do this justice!! They're about 1 mi. offshore, using jet ski's to get to the reef.   • no where near forty foot. even for mailand scale. maybe some were 40' hawaii scale (measuring from the back of the wave)
