Actor/Voice Actor Kirby Morrow, best known for Miroku from Inuyasha and Trowa from Gundam Wing, answers the question, "Which Shakespeare quote do you feel best represents your character (Miroku)?" during a panel at Metro-Con 2010 In Tampa, FL.

Shakespeare Sonnet 37:

As a decrepit father takes delight
To see his active child do deeds of youth,
So I, made lame by fortune's dearest spite,
Take all my comfort of thy worth and truth.
` For whether beauty, birth, or wealth, or wit,
Or any of these all, or all, or more,
Entitled in thy parts do crowned sit,
I make my love engrafted to this store:
--skipped this stanza--((So then I am not lame, poor, nor despised,
Whilst that this shadow doth such substance give
That I in thy abundance am sufficed
And by a part of all thy glory live.))--
Look, what is best, that best I wish in thee:
This wish I have; then ten times happy me!

  • I got to sit and chat a bit with both him and David Cox later in the day. They are two very nice guys and great conversationalists. I hope to see them again next year.

  • Funny story when Scott signed my DVD. There was a friend next to me who was a girl and he must of thought the DVD was her's; so he signed it and gave a heart on my DVD cover and after that he was like "oh, wait...I just drew a heart." "It means I just love you!" and he puts a heart on symbol near his chest. and just for the akwardness of it I was like "I love you too!" and did the heart back lol. He was like "YEAH! Man love" lol it was so funny! He must come back to Metrocon next yr!

  • Lol, that was awesome!

  • All my parts of this panel are posted, except part 1 is not in the search for some stupid reason. Maybe they will fix that, but if you want you can go to my channel and then watch all 5 parts of this Inuyasha Metrocon 2010 panel. Leave comments, spread the word and enjoy of course :)

  • I was there I have 46 minutes of the panel because I tried to beat the crowd to the autograph session, buuuuuuuuuuut they had security cut the lines cause they were to long. They need a 2hr session more than a 1hr. I will try to upload it all onto here, if I can't then I will have it on my photobucket and you can message me on my youtube account and I will send you the direct link so you can watch it. They are amazing guys. I have all 3 of there autographs.
