Every year, Detroit holds its annual Riverfest Fireworks, (we sat in Hart Plaza) and the show is exactly 30 minutes long, but I only recorded the last, ten minutes of the incredible display. It's long, loud, and simply spectacular. I'm not sure there is anything else like it in the entire world (it's supposed to be the biggest show in North America - but maybe not anymore since they went from 4 barges down to 3). Comment if you agree OR disagree, because I'm curious! (6-28)
I have been going every year since 2001 and have never seen a fourth barge. How long ago did they switch to three? The show felt a bit shorter this year but as usual the finale was awesome! The concussions produced by the titanium salutes is incredible. The Windsor side is the nicer of the two sides to be on.

@harpdoggydog We always went on the Windsor side as well, and it is amazing, I agree, but last night it was unbelievable because we were SO close, it felt like shrapnel would reign down on us. There were always four barges, but then we missed the last, three years of the show. This year, it surprised and bummed me out to see only 3 there. :/ thanks for the comment!
