In the book of John, in the first 1st chapter, you will find similar scripture. If you were to study the bible you would understand it was talking about the preincarnate Jesus who was present with before the foundations of the heavens and the earth. There is one God, present in three distinct persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. I pray the Lord in his mercy will answer your questions and doubts, and in his mercy lead you to understanding and belief in his son.

@Preliminimal Very true,! God is not Steril and has created or given birth to other gods that are now what some call the Elohim or the Archangels and that is probably the "us' in this case. These Beings are probably thousands or millions of years ahead of us in Spirituality and in Technology . They are what I call the first races born from the womb of Father/Mother God. Theosophy Teaches that as man comes much closer to God then God allows him to take part in the creation of worlds and life !

@nicktesla45 --Nick, God is an omnipresent consciousness, 'us' makes perfect sense. God is beyond human understanding and the Bible has many profound truths that are simplified to symbolic meanings in order for humans to understand--for those who seek truth humbly not those who have arrogant hearts or academic snobbery...God is the source of all gods, all realities, God is omnipotent and spoke to humans through ancient prophets with the Holy Spirit. ask God what He wants you to know first.

Besides if there was nobody to hear him who was he talking to ?? Number one I said 2 millions years old. Bones decay after 1K years? Did you fabricate that assumption from jack shit? Bones decaying can be altered by numerous factors in it's environment. When organic material or an animal dies it ceases to consume more radiocarbon and it start's to decay back into nitrogen. It takes 5,730 years for half of a sample of radiocarbon to decay back into nitrogen. It takes another 5,730 for half of the remainder to decay. Based off of this we can calculate the age

@M3TurboE46 you cannot prove that the earth is over a billion years old cuz carbon dating is in fact just human theorys that cant be proven correct. you cant look at a rock and say its over a billion years old. and another thing it takes bones 1k years to decay how can you prove that man is 2 bill years old when bones are not even existant from that era
