This beautiful ballad is take from his third LP '' Warm'' released in 1958. This is Johnny Mathis at his finest from the voice to the soul. His romantic side is fully exploited with his beautiful voice and with a big major orchestra of that time like the Percy Faith orchestra..............what you can ask for more..................

  • What a lovely romantic song and it's being sung by one of the best if not the best singer of love songs. Thanks for the upload.

  • What a beautiful song. Why can't they write 'em like this anymore? The string arrangement is amazing as well. Is it Glen Osser? Johnny Mathis is up there along with "The Chairman Of The Board" Thanks.....

  • Gorgeous sound...the young Johnny Mathis

  • One of about 3 perfect albums all the way through, he is always perfect, song choices are what I mean.

  • Never tire of you Mr. Mathis, Never!

  • @Toppercat Hi, if you're taling about the orchestra backing Johnny here I think it's the wonderful orchestra of Percy Faith.

  • Great song, this is also for sale on the amazon site on Johnny's 2009 mp3 downloads album titled "My One And Only Love." Thanks for this upload.

Never heard of Nash. I'll check him out.

  • Yep, he's one of singing history's very best. I also remember Johnny Nash whose career (I've been told) suffered because he was too much like Johnny Mathis

  • @DLM629

And he's still adapting, changing his music as he ages. Truly remarkable.

  • i remember when this album came out. it became one of the most popular, certainly of that time. and there wasn't a bad song on it. listening to it helped me learn how to fall in love. today i'm 72, and i still get dreamy listening to every one of its songs.
