Nobody knows anything about Mr. Wiseau's past because he hasn't been born yet. He came here in a time machine from the far future of mankind, where traditional films as we know them today no longer exist. The dialogue and storytelling techniques in The Room are simply beyond our comprehension given our limited 21st century knowledge.
