Removed a yellow jacket nest inside the house with no pesticides and not a single sting! Watch these 3 videos Identified them as yellow jackets (wanted to make sure they weren't honey bees) and decided to try to remove this one without harmful sprays. We first bought a yellow jacket trap from our local home depot and as you can see in one of the videos it didn't catch a single yellow jacket even with them swarming about.
We then saw they were just using a small opening and we decided to tape it shut and start vacuuming.
Very effective - you can see as you follow through our videos. This first video is just seconds after we first taped their entrance closed
They don't forage right next to the nest. So your trap isn't working because of that.

LOL I was just thinking I needed to get the wasps traps set out, but as I can plainly see they are "TOTALLY USELESS". GOOD idea with the shop vac and thanks for sharing.
