Removed a yellow jacket nest inside the house with no pesticides and not a single sting! Watch these 3 videos Identified them as yellow jackets (wanted to make sure they weren't honey bees) and decided to try to remove this one without harmful sprays. We first bought a yellow jacket trap from our local home depot and as you can see in one of the videos it didn't catch a single yellow jacket even with them swarming about.
We then saw they were just using a small opening and we decided to tape it shut and start vacuuming.
Very effective - you can see as you follow through our videos. This first video is just seconds after we first taped their entrance closed

  • They don't forage right next to the nest. So your trap isn't working because of that.

  • LOL I was just thinking I needed to get the wasps traps set out, but as I can plainly see they are "TOTALLY USELESS". GOOD idea with the shop vac and thanks for sharing.
