@jennykang70 the japanese kana system was made in korea during the three kingdoms period, but they prohibited it as they had a closer relationship with china. Gugyeol, idu were all japanese kana. And also, korea was a very small nation with a population 1000 times smaller than china, so if they didn't use chinese characters, the chinese wouuld get very angry and terrorise the country.

Hanja should be called Eunja since it was Eun-nara invented writing that used by Chinese and Japanese. Eun-nara was Proto-Korean state.

First of all the so called Chinese writing is not Chinese. The First so called Chinese writings come from area north of Beijing. Beijing was not part of China. It only became the capital of China because the northerners includings Koreans conquered China. The last dynasticy of China was a Manchurian dynasty. The Manchurian dynasty was first called "Kim" dynasty because it was founded by the royals of Shilla. Later it changed its name to Chung and conquered China.
