I visited Old Sacramento a day after National Train Day on May 10, 2009, and took a quick ride on California State Railroad Museum's Sacramento Southern Railroad pulled by Granite Rock #10 0-6-0 tank engine.

  • 6051 and 913 are the power for the Polar Express trains this year at CSRM

  • @trainboy94: Thanks for the info. I'll pass that info along, in case I can't make it up there to see 'em myself.

  • are the two ATSF steamers from behind the shop being stored on the SS excursion line now is that where I see them in the video here I never knew CSRM moved them

  • Last time I saw them, they were behind the old Locomotive Works shops. I didn't know they were moved either, so they caught me by surprise.

  • Great Job, thanks for showing Santa Fe 2925 & 5021.

Did the man on the speackers tell the passengers about them?

  • I didn't record it, but while stopped next to them, the narrator did mention them.
