Actually, this shows what kind of "Class" seattle ADULTS have.

Pouring beer on kids 20 years younger than them.

Yeah, I'd beat the crap out of some 40 year old dude pouring beer on me, espeacially if i had a hockey stick.

What started the fight is the fans behind them were dumping beer on the American's players, it wasn't just one incident, it happened several times throughout the night. You have to remember these are mostly teenagers and emotions run high, when grown adults are doing things like pouring beer on you while you are doing your job, anyone would be inclined to retaliate. My friend was a TC American and caught up in this brawl, he said security was called earlier to monitor the fans.

I was there that night. I seem to recall TC coach Bob McCammon having a lot to do with what happened, encouraging his players to mix it up with the Seattle fans. Best part was we wiped the floor with the Americans that night, winning 9-2. Good times!

@JPhrog Actually I was one of the fans in the fight. A group of about 10 of us had been razzing the bench all night. One of the players finally lost it, turned around and squirted his water bottle on the wife of the guy next to us, he immediately poured his entire beer on the kid, and off we went. I was in my early 20s at the time, what a rush, when the dust settled (30 minutes later) we all were seated and watched the end of the game with several officers in the aisle.

@macocwbyz72 they'er aged 16 to 36 and they had beer poured on is that not enough to piss you off cuz it does to me and the players and they get enough beatings on the ice aswell. they had good reason to. its called "self defence"
