Respond to this video... He was out of work for more than a year as a "Lagger" an insulator. He figured he like to cook and eat so he just started applying. Took about 2 months he tells me. He ain't making the kind of scratch he used to but he figs he will work his way up and move on to new places! Get my drift. If I lost my job tomorrow that is what I would be doing.

@SeansFood Tell you what! I have a chap come into my store last week to buy some knives and we talked and I asked who he works for and he told me. The place he is going to work for is a high end joint no stars yet, but high end. I asked who he worked for before and he said no one. I asked if he went to culinary school and he said no. I was like what gives? He applied for a prep job and they hired him and will train him to do it there way. He just wanted to get in the door of someplace.

In Colombia we call this Sancocho, and add avocado and a corn inside. :)

Great recipe buddy! :)
Delicious bowl of stew Sean! I hope I don't catch a cold this season but if I do I am going to call in a TOGO order of your stew! Back in New York we would call that Jewish Penicillin! The cure for the common flu or cold! As always your presentation is a beauty!

@MrEZCooking Thanks Rich, as always, its good to hear from you mate. I always respect and like to hear your opinion.
Lol, Jewish Penicillin, I like it.
I was watching a 2 star Michelin chef on TV the other day, it made me realise how much you can improve on your cooking skills, kind of inspirational to be fair. Plus this guy only had one arm too! :O

@SeansFood Hey mate I can dig what you are saying about improving on the cooking skills and the inspiration of a one armed man still cooking. Let's you know that the guy ain't gonna lay down and quit! I love cooking because it is so open to interp and personal creativity and nothing is written in stone! I don't know what you do for a living dude, but I think your food creativity can take you places!

@MrEZCooking Definitely, exactly the way I see things, nothing is written in stone like you say, always open to your own interpretation. Im out of work at the moment dude, I used to make engines for triumph motorbikes and stuff, got make redundant a few years ago when the recession hit. Never going back to that stuff, need to find a job doing what I love, which is easier said than done.
