I'd seen parts of the film while traveling abroad.... glad I was able to find this online! Great film - I agree with one of the comments, the plot was really complex and convoluted (as I've noted lots of Asian films can be!), with TONS of plot twists, but it was the spirit of the film that drove it. Really enjoyed it.

story line is good but somewhat flawed in logic. But in chinese movies, this plot is more twisted and therefore viewed as more advanced compared to others. as for the acting, it was generally good but really not that impressive. If one was touched by the movie, it was in my view moved by the spirit behind the story line, patriotism. Also, the movie was sort of slow in the first 3 quarters.
