It sounds like it has an AC hum getting into the audio output stage somehow, likely induced from the tube heater wiring to the automatic gain or automatic volume control circuitry. Sometimes the workers at the factory, or a later repairman, placed the tube heater wiring too close to the volume control wiring or poorly shielded the wiring to an external phonograph socket. It could also be a bad tube or tube grid connection. Other then that you have a good looking radio with good fidelity.
