  • Now why would you buy a Mac to just run windows.........

  • @amiadr Games

  • This is unfair comparison of boot time, the MacBook Pro is made for OSX + u are using SSD which is double the speed of the HDD , the real comparison should be a real life comparison between both machines , with the MBP of HDD and Snow Leopard and the HP Envy with and HDD and Windows 7.

In a Comparison you should Boost each machine to its best possible performance.

    with the same Hardware Specifications

  • @MinaK2009 I mentioned in the video several times that the boot time comparison was not very useful because of the SSD, differing specs, and b/c win7 was in boot camp mode for the macbook. There's almost no way to get exact same specs/ssd etc. for these two laptops. Nevermind that win7 and OSX offer different features, so a coldboot comparison is pointless. If you're concerned about which OS boots faster, I'm sure there are other benchmarks.

  • the new mac has an sd card slot

  • @xXCr4zyL3mon5Xx new macs and new envy's have a lot of different features. These two models were contemporaries.

  • @andwedonotknowhim I'm aware that OSX is the native OS for the macbook, but I can't exactly put OSX on the envy easily, so windows 7 is the only OS I can compare side by side. I don't think it's meaningful to compare OSX boot times to windows 7 boot times, as I'm sure there are plenty of better articles comparing the boot times and features of the two OS's.

  • Ever thought that bending could be a defect on YOUR system? You sir are an idiot.

  • nice vid man =)

  • @SauceOfSoy because of compatibility issues. such as when someone is in school, college or work, the majority of people will use PCs running Windows, so it's better to be on the safe side and run Windows, either with Parallels or VMWare Fusion or even on a partition, along side mac OS X.

  • why would you have the mac running windows 7 we all know osx boots up faster

  • Macbook pro 2011 FTW

  • @PartyHatCookieCat the multi touch tp on mb pro is giant button, but i wanna ask can u double tapp (lik in windows laptop) to click an item? n damn ur right abt delete key in mb pro, this wud hav been an issue if i had that apple laptop n i use many software that use those keys n switching back n forth between fn key+ del n del key wud hav been a real pain
