Although I added a few comments over the top of some of the news broadcasts utilized here ... I think the bottom line message needs no further explanation...

Crimes against humanity! Crimes against women! Crimes against Children! Stop the hate ... stop the ignorance ... stop radical Islam!

I do feel obligated to state that I traveled throughout many Middle East countries and lived in both Qatar in 2005, and Jordan 2008. I found many of the people abhor the outrageous acts of violence ...

However, it is clear as shown by the UN resolution vote, as well as the obvious lack of statistics and publication of these acts of honor killings occurring in Jordan, need be addressed by their Monarchy/government, as well as the US who pours millions of dollars into not only Jordan, but other countries throughout the region.

This is yet another of many acts of violence spreading across Europe, North America and the entire planet, from radical Islamics ... IT MUST BE ERADICATED from the face of the earth!

WAKE UP! A plague is upon us and it must be stopped!

Music is Our Solemn Hour by Within Temptation.

I would urge everyone to check the various news items available through Internet searches and You Tube videos.

For anyone who questions what countries (as listed) abstained from the UN Resolution 55/66 ... go to page 6 of the document which has the list: http://daccessdds.un.org/doc/UNDOC/GEN/N00/779/61/PDF/N0077961.pdf?OpenElement

  • wat are the countries names for?

  • The countries are those that abstained from UN Resolution 55/66 ... you can find a link to the resolution, along with the song name/artist under the 'more info' section. The song is "Our Solemn Hour" by Within Temptation.

  • I'm a woman from Russia and can attest to the fact that we have no honor killings, Russian women attend universities, have equal political rights, dress however they want, enjoy freedom in terms of their sexuality, are free to date, marry and divorce whomever they want. We are the culture of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky. We view honor killings as barbaric. Your video, by featuring Russia in the same list as Saudi Arabia and Yemen, put undeservedly a stain of disgrace on my beloved homeland.

  • No, I do not put undeservedly a stain of disgrace on Russia ... merely stating the fact that Russia abstained from the vote as stated in Resolution 55/66 -- see "more info" section for the link and you can see this for yourself. Feel free to make comments that state Russia is not involved in honor killings, and please back that up with links/documentation. This video is speaking to specifics and Russia is listed, factually, as abstaining. Best regards.

  • I never understand how many say "honor killings are not part of Islam", but they still happen. Where, then, do these fathers (and the mothers who are sometimes against, but forced to 'go along'.IMO they're just as guilty, but in a difficult place to be able to "stand up") get these ideas? Where is it written? My Albanian cousin showed me a book (years ago, don't know which book, but it was 'HOLY') giving detailed instructions of "why" & "how" daughters should be killed for disobeying/dishonoring

  • claudiamontana8 you make youtube worth watching. THANK YOU!

R.I.P. FOR THOSE WOMEN WHO WERE KILLED...

  • @Livinginuk1

Actually, they are. Arab/muslim calendar is 500 years behind ours, so it's quite normal. They DO live in the distant past.

  • they're all so pretty, so sad.

  • Thank you.

  • what i dont get is these women that have been completely burned still wear that clothes that covers them completely i would disown a religion that does that to me of coarse i dont follow any

  • @proEngellrat This is balouch tradition and is tribal behavior. This has nothing to do with islam.

  • @Iosif1953 I saw a documentary on the treatment of Women in Russia. What astounded me with this. Even though women enjoy the things you mentioned, there has been a horrible "backlash" against highly educated women in Russia. When interviewed, the women said that even though they had Degrees, that no-one would employ them and were impoverished as a result. Many of these "same" women, now work in the Sex industry, which I found really distasteful and sad.

  • i was in egypt a few years ago and children were beating and abusing puppy in street..then when the prayers ring out they pray..i think a very bad spirit behind the religion..and they couldnt understand why it was worng to torture the puppy and no one stopped them..and the kids were calling me crazy in arabic because i told them to stop hurting the puppy,,this is the mentality from the religion..true story

  • i cant believe those parliament members support such barbarianism....what kind of sick government is that ???

is ihe date 2009 bc or 2009 ad ???
