For more recipes visit: http://www.damascusbakery.com Inspired by old world traditions in bread making and quality service, New York Damascus Bakeries opened its community bakery in 1930 with Americas Original Pita Bread. Now 80 years and three generations later, our dedication to providing delicious bread solutions to both the retail and food service environment continues to tantalize taste buds nationwide.

Damascus flat breads are found in some of the most discerning restaurants, institutions, convenience stores and supermarkets. Focusing on taste, we blend old world tradition with new age technology, offering a sensory experience in our full line of savory, healthy breads including Pitas, Lahvash Wraps, Panini, Roll-ups, Pocket breads, and other gourmet Flat Breads.

Today Marisol from Damascus Bakeries Flatbread Company is showing me how to cook Thanksgiving Turkey Quesadilla Recipe with Healthy Panini Bread. In 1930, our grandfather introduced a little bit of home to the new world. As the neighborhood baker, he served fresh, hearth-baked, Syrian pita bread to friends and family. Beginning long before sunrise, he'd mix, knead, and bake - all by hand - to have warm bread ready for purchase each morning. As time evolved, Damascus Bakeries introduced its beloved pita to other communities, promoting its versatility as a tasty, healthy, fun, pocket bread option. Today, three generations later, we are still committed to giving our customers the taste they expect, the variety they deserve, and the product they love. We are America's Original Pita.

1 Panini Flatbread from Damascus Bakeries
1 cup of left over turkey pieces
1/4 cup of shredded Mexican Cheese
1/2 cup of salsa
1 tsp of olive oil

Coat the pan with olive oil, add turkey pieces to the pan, heat the pan up, add salsa, and cook for 3 minutes. Transfer the cooked turkey on to the panini flatbread. Fold the panini in half, take it to a grill, and heat it up for a minute. Enjoy!
