Eddie is awesome, and he voiced his opinion, and he was the one trying to do his thing and the douche security guard was just interrupting people for no reason at all. No biggie, and I always respect speaking up when someone is being a goof.

@77tongandeathgrip The fact is that the security guard wouldn't actually have a job without bands such as Pearl Jam performing at that venue, so technically he is kind of working for Pearl Jam, because it is what the fans are paying for. However this is a kind of pointless argument because neither of us know the background of the guard, what Eddie exactly said to him or how the guard took it, or even what the guard was doing, so overall, we are kind of wasting our time.

@MusicMeUpBaby Even though Eddie Vedder wasn't outwardly rude, he still comes off like a bit of a a douche to me. The security guard doesn't work for him; so where does Eddie get off telling him to do? It isn't like they were beating anyone or anything. They were just trying to enforce the rules of the venue who they work for. Annoying but necessary, underpaid, and thankless. The guard wasn't telling Vedder how to do his job, why should Vedder tell the guard how to do his?
