  • you negative people make me sick. he worked hard and earned everything. hes my hero handsdown and an inspiration to people everywhere. get a life and bash on somebody u know PERSONALLY. thanks.

  • Why are you hating on your own kind ?! When you offend a fellow Mexican you offend all Mexicans. Any Mexican that reads your comments will hate you immidiately. Why dont you go back to Mexico with all of your degrees and your B.S. and try to make a living there. Also why dont give your papers to someone that can put them to better use, because a degree from Harvard out weights any degree from Mexico. A true Mexican has pride in what their people do.

  • @Jazielleija He is culturally nowhere near being Mexican.

  • Innocent people? You're saying that all the people who cross the border "illegally" are typical criminals. It seems very fallacious. They're only "illegal" because of some law that says that they can't enter the country like that or one can't work or live in the United States without documentation. Otherwise, most of them are regular people like you and me. The law might say you can't drive without your seat belt, but if you don't where it, it doesn't necessarily mean you're a typical criminal.

  • First of all, Harvard is too freakin awesome academically, sadly UNAM is day-by-day getting defunded by the govt. and becoming less accessible. Second, define "fair." Is it fair that someone like Eric, who has lived in the U.S. since he was small, to get deported because of his "illegal" status. He does not know Mexico, and he wouldn't know where to start. Therefore, it seems more unfair to deny him legal status, given he has lived in the US his whole life. U gotta see the human side of it.

  • What about all the people in Mexico who are waiting patiently to enter Mexico? And you skip the line by entering immediately, hurting the innocent people. Shame.

  • @54m4rV1ll4 THANK YOU for your reply. Finally someone with a sense of what's right and what's wrong.

  • @Jazielleija I'M USA born from Mexican parents, I actually went to U.N.A.M and got a law degree with full honors, I was offer jobs in Europe and in Asia, Harvard does not outweigh any university, it's all on the students personality, intelligence, and integrity towards self improvement. I'm against ILLEGAL immigration. It is not fair that people who cross the border illegally should have amnesty, my parents waited the required time to migrate LEGALLY to USA, do not compensate Illegals' .

  • This guy is an American as far as I can tell and he even seems proud of it despite how he was treated. He isnt a mexican flag waving " mexican american" who is still tied to the homeland, fuck it. I like him and hes handsome.

  • They should cut him some slack. America wants hard working, educated citizens. That is exactly what this kid is aiming for. If they allow him to stay, he'll be forced to get his immigration status squared away within a given timeframe anyway.

  • @Jazielleija are you mexican or what?
