Glad to hear the supream court is on our side (or should I say the Canadian Constitution) and sad to hear the police that choose to follow unlawful orders are not.

Utter nonsense! There is no justification for these so-called men to be armed and apparently willing to use violence. If there are undercover police in the crowd, they should be totally passive until action is called for by events, not likely to create events by their criminal behaviour. I was a cop, so I reckon I know a bit about these situations.

Actually, scottmck72, if you've seen the video taken during the rally, you'll see that only 4 legitimate protesters are dressed in faggot facemasks, and that the remainder are just plain clothes men and women.
The police, by dawning their warlike wardrobe, while clutching weapons (nobody else there was), was inciting violence merely by being visible, at the forefront. Having those cops around would also malign the peaceful protesters image, from an outsiders view.

FYI a provocateur IS illegal.

Why didn't someone pull off their masks?
They were only bandanas, surely not too difficult. Terrible case of criminal police actions.

Somebody did pull at their masks, and one came right down.
The police are lying. The undercover cops were deliberately causing trouble and behaving aggressively. Their actions cannot be justified on any grounds and their unwillingness to deal with the issue in a reasonable manner proves they are acting against the best interests of the public they are supposed to protect
