Jon Kyl was elected to the U.S. Senate from Arizona in 1994 and re-elected in 2000 and 2006, after having served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. As the Republican Whip, he is the second-ranking member of the Senate Republican Leadership and responsible for building support on key issues.He serves on the Senate's Finance Committee, where he is the ranking Republican on the Subcommittee on Taxation and IRS Oversight, and on the Judiciary Committee, where he is the ranking Republican on the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology and Homeland Security.

Agreed. The Reagan administration also helped to create and augment many of the foreign policy issues that Americans encounter today, especially through the funding/armament of terrorist regimes, including but not limited to the Taliban.
