  • what if we dont have the needle that you showed

  • @stargurl552 Do you mean the crochet hook I made this with, or the needle I use at the end to weave in my ends? You can't crochet this without an appropriately-sized crochet hook, but any old yarn needle will work, to weave in ends. If you want yarn needles like mine, I have them available in my shop on zibbet dot com.

  • lol I was working on this... Well the end went well lol. I use plastic crochet hooks. Mine broke in half. hahahaaa

  • @39302twizzler Hahah! Been there, done that! Try and loosen your tension just a bit, and your grip on your needle. Barring that, Boye makes very sturdy aluminum hooks that bear more abuse than Red Heart's plastic line. ;)

  • How would i make maybe pikachu??

  • @IwillDie4Ubabe If you're not at the skill level where you can design your own patterns, I would begin by searching the internet for a pikachu pattern and starting there. Wolfdreamer makes incredible pokemon amigurumi patterns, and if you google "pikachu crochet" you'll find her pattern is the first result. I highly recommend her patterns. Good luck and have fun!

  • @Bigsp4 i understand why yhu would think its weird im a 17 yr old male and just about everyone that knows i crochet thinks its kool, but yhu know theres always somebody that has to be mean and those who are mean call me homosexual, fag. and just about anything yhu can think of.

P.S. its very fun and once yhu start yhu will never want to stop and its aslo a very wonderful stress reliever. :)

  • @Bigsp4 You wouldn't be weird at all! One of the most exciting designers in crochet right now is Drew Emborsky, (aka TheCrochetDude on YouTube). Another high profile and talented man in crochet is Mike Sellick (aka mikeyssmail on YouTube). While I admit men who yarncraft aren't as common as women, don't let it discourage you. It's a great hobby for everyone.

  • Thank you for uploading this!! I'm making a doll for my sister using this video for the head body and limbs :) your directions are very clear and easy to follow

  • @WireMySoul lol ill have to check into it. ;o) thanks for the tip

  • @crochetnerd1 Yes that has become my preference in the last few years I've been making amigurumi. Back when this vid was made, however, I preferred the flat texture of the wrong side out.
