I think Gwen probably has feelings for Jack (who wouldn't? I would if I was her and this handsome guy comes and whisk me away from my ordinary life to be a part of something amazing) but she knows deep down she's in love with Rhys and her life is better with Rhys so she married him.

On the other hand, i think Jack views Gwen has having something he doesn't (the innocence and caring for people, etc) so he wants to protect her while nurturing her growth, like a father would do with his child.

Agreed, HikariLJ. I think Jack sees Gwen's relationship as the thing he wishes to have. The glances Jack gave Gwen and the scene with him looking at his photos made me think that he was reminiscing, not fauning over her.

But I also think, after Jack and Ianto patched up that trust issue (Cyberwoman), that it made their relationship into something bigger. It's gotta mean something! If they're not going ahead with Janto (imagine the fans... *_*), then they shouldn't with Gwack.
