This story is happy end lol

The NES version credits 'Hal and Wood' as the composers.

I got to lvl 3

I beat this game in 3 days of nonstop cursing and yelling. It's really not that hard once you know how to deal with everything. Oh, and make sure you always use the knives. They're easily the best weapon in the game.

believe me when I say that this game is NOT as easy as it looks. I've conquered the first Castlevania, Contra, and even all three marios (NES Mario) and didn't look back. But if you think that conquering those games means something, you've got another thing coming. I sure as hell did and I can't get past the first goddamn level. This game has nearly broken me

LOL- you ever try the Japanese version?
-
@AntichristDemoncore the japanese name of this game is hell village so it fits :).
-
i could never get past the middle of the 3rd level. on another note, anyone who plays warhammer fantasy will realize how influential this is/was on parts of that game's aesthetic.

This music's cool and everything, but they did such a good job of upgrading it for SG&G

Man, this game was always way too hard for my young mind to comprehend. But one of these days I'm going to go back and beat this thing.
