Prop 89 and clean elections is not some liberal extremist propisition and it isn't complicated or fuzzy to see what it is either. It's as simple as if you want our politicians to have their campaigns paid for by big
companies, because this is no secret or conspiricy theory it's a fact, and then those elected have to respond to these companies. Or do you want politicians to respond to you.

Yes the campaign money comes from our tax dollars, it is a very small price to pay, but what we lose each time a corrupt politician makes a political decision is ALOT more. This is bypartisan, this doesn't mean only democrats can win now, it daoesn't have ANYTHING to do with who wins, it can be of any party or political idealism. Well not any person will win, the corrupt won't be in power. So unless you are in favor of corruption, it is a very simple decision. VOTE YES FOR PROP 89.

I love this ad and I love the CA nurses working for Clean Elections. Let's stop the auction of our democracy. I will vote for and support Prop 89. The CA Legislature passed the Health Care for All CA (SB840) and Ahnold vetoed it. We need government that cares about us.

There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to express my opinion by giving money (in any amount) to campaign. The communist left is always clammering about free speech, but when push comes to shove they ALWAYS want to limit it.

great ad. unlike pippicat, I am a populist, and I do believe in democracy, and I say that the people don't need to be "educated" that Big Money controls and corrupts the system. They already know that. that's why a lot of non-voters don't vote -- as they see it, "voting only encourages them." as of today, the LA Times' running tally of total political contributions in CA so far is up to $474,424,202

I would love to see a return of the "equal time" federal regulations that were abolished under the Reagan administration. Responsible parties should be entitled to air their opposing views free of charge. This campaign is a step in the right direction, and should appeal to ANYONE that appreciates fairness, regardless of their affiliation.

Wow ... this ad is so ... umm ... intellectual -- just like one of Hillsman's other projects a few years back -- Jesse Ventura. This just shows again that large-scale "democracy" is an oxymoron -- no matter what the initiative propagandists would like you to believe.
