My entry to the Überdog Pivot contest. I had a hell of a time trying to convert Pivot files to the correct format in Windows 7 (all my previous animations were made in Windows XP), so here's a rundown of how I did it:
-Export the video from Pivot as a sequence of still images. Choose "JPEG" as the file type. "Resize" should be set to 100%, and leave duplicate frames in. Save the images to a folder all on their own.
-Using the freeware stop-motion program Photolapse, import these JPEGs and convert them to an AVI file. Be sure to set the frame rate at this point to what it will be in the final version.
-Import the resulting AVI into WIndows Live Movie Maker (which doesn't support animated GIFs), add sounds and do any editing you need to do. Then export as WMV and upload to Youtube.
I spent three times as long working that out as I did making the actual video. And the video was significanly longer than I had planned for, too: I was intending for it to be a 20-second skit, but it turned out at an entire minute.
better than mine D:

Who says we can't both be in? It'll be especially funny if the punchline is different.
