easier said than done...you know your mma knowledge...tell me something how do you beat a fighter you can't hit?...rampage being a power house of a fighter isn't the fastest lightheavy weight!
well let's see Rashad said he tried to get Machida to come to him and they said that cant work. But it can. He was barely prepared for what was coming at him. I'd say rampage would have the best chance at trying to clinch once he sees Machida coming in. If Machida hits Rampage it wouldnt phase him so he could most likely get the clinch.
And he'll have to make Machida think he's going to be completely 1-dimensional and keep throwing punches, because then he can throw a leg kick out of nowhere.
And dont even count Shogun out. Machida got rocked by Sokoudjou, and BJ Penn was clinching with him a lot he just didnt have the strength at the weight he was at. Compared to Rampage and Shogun, Machida has no offense. He'd have to keep running because once he gets up close hes in danger. He might get cocky thinking their just the same as Rashad and pay for it.
Also I dont think he's as great on the ground as ppl think, evidence of the Ortiz fight. I think Shogun could surprise him there too.
i agree with you...back then machida wasn't confident that's why people doubt machida cus he won fights by decision...but now he's become more confident...and i'm not counting out shogun...shogun is dangerous striker in his own right!...but like i said machida is starting to finish is opponents...as for jackson we'll have to wait and see cus first he needs to get through rashad...i'm with rashad for UFC 107 btw!...oh and rampage is quite weak in the clinch!
