"Shattered" by Trading Yesterday // House & Wilson (House)

I wanted to make a new House vid right after I watched "House's Head". And after "Wilson's Heart", I just knew it had to be a House/Wilson vid (as usual with me, NON-SLASH, but you know... if you want to view it this way, I don't think I can stop you).
Problem is, I could only find slow-paced songs that fit, so I had to face my issues with slow songs in this vid (I just can't work with them! I'm always so lost). However, I do think I did ok.

Anyway, this vid is about what House and Wilson went through in the finale.
Wilson was torn apart by what was happening with Amber, and House, while going through some tough time of his own with his memories, was there to do anything for his friend.
Things took a turn for the worst, though, when Amber died and House was found to be somewhat linked to it, leaving him feeling guilty and miserable and scared that Wilson might not forgive him.

What's so wrong with slash? If you love someone that much, it doesn't matter. Everything as trivial as sex, sexual orientation and romance melt away in favor of deep affection, trust, and yes, friendship. I don't think you can sum up House/Wilson as "slash or no slash". That's pathetic. Best relationship on television, and for the record, I still think they'll end up together, deep down.

There's nothing wrong with slash! I'm just saying I don't particularly slash them and this video was not intended to be viewed as a study on their romantic relationship. I wasn't trying to sum up their relationship, I was talking about this video in particular.

However, as I also pointed out, if you do slash them and decide to view it this way, there's no problem, because it might also fit, somehow. It's just not what I intended.

@di0br Oh, thank you for clearing it up... That makes a lot of sense to me. Let me just say that this is one of my absolute favorite House/Wilson (House & Wilson, whatever) videos. Very emotional... The music is perfect, the pacing and choice of video clips is perfect. I think you summed up the season four finale beautifully with just this.

Fantastic video. Great editing--the flow of the vid with the song was incredible. You picked the perfect clips for each moment. That plus the excellent song = 5 stars from me. Really highlights the panic and confusion of everyone involved.

As an aside, if you want to avoid looking like a slash shipper, use House & Wilson instead of House/Wilson. / is obviously for slash, & is for friendship-only. Just for future reference. :)

Yeah, I know what you mean about the '/' and '&' thing, and I'm already doing it on newer vids. I'll admit the '&' looks kind of weird, but at least it doesn't get confused with slash.

I keep trying to decide whether I should change the title of this vid, or just leave it at that... Still haven't figured it out, actually.

I'm glad to have found someone who makes good House and Wilson videos without making them slashy. I love a good slash, but I just don't see it with them, because their friendship is so very different to one of romance and sex.

OMG! I can't believe how in love with this vid I am D: I'm a fan of FMVs but this is by far the best I've seen! I can honestly say (although I fucking LOVE House and Wilson) I am not an avid fan...
