This is version 2, at the end of the making, I added on the busting open! It was dark at the party, but you can still make out what is going on with the glittery shimmers and camera flashes...

  • That was actually an emergency blanket, sorry. It will cost you $2 tops in the camping section or automotive section of walmart.

  • Did you watch the video? lol, it's Mylar glued with spray adhesive onto cardboard, then cut into squares with a paper cutter.

  • yeah i showed my sister this and two days later she went to a party at her friends and there was a real disco ball and my sister got a stick and hit the disco ball thinking it was one of these piñatas and the disco ball fell and smashed sooo i don't recommend this video to people going to a party soon...

  • Ok so where can I find Mylar? I am having a hard time finding it. I have checked all the craft stores and hardware stores. They said they don't carry it. Is it called something else that they may recognize? The only thing I found was a garden store who had it but it only came in 6, 8, 10 in squares but they sold them individually for 79 cents. I was hoping to be able to find it in a roll.

  • very nice i like ...thank you for you idea....

  • How do you put the little mirrors on the pinata? I don't have tacky glue just simple elmers glue and need to know like if you can put them on with a small drop of hot glue?
