nate...have you at all noticed that since november more and more people, including yourself, have had an interest in searching for a deeper reality, and are in fact submerged more and more in philosophical inquiry...?... a friend of my mother, who upon seeing me for the first time in years... asked for my email and told me she would write me some important things...later she wrote me... that I would enter a phase of intense change of ideas...something is up.

Children can be more cruel than adults, without ever having been taught to be selfish or violent, they often lash out at each other in the meanest ways.
I think that "good" and "evil" are over simplified terms, and morality is subjective.

Hey,
Firstly, you completely remind me of Edward Norton.
Second, aren't we just highly evolved animals with every action having an equal and opposite reaction ie: a 'good' action by one being open to exploitation by anothers' 'evil' action.
Thanks,

# 3 can tie into 2ndbreakfast's q. If the answer is no, people may lose their curiosity if they feel they have reached an age at which their dreams are no longer attainable.
4) what determines who we love and who our friends are? Do the concepts 'meant to be' and compatibility exist or do we love simply those we arbitrarily choose as the targets of our affection? if we don't choose arbitrarily but it is a matter of choice - is this bad?
thanks! next time I'll try to think of something lighter!
Hmm, we'll have to ask you guys some more lighthearted questions.
Some of my favorite parts have been unintentionally funny, anyway... like the intro to QLP#9 when the computer fan cranked up during the intro and you seemed to notice, and in QLP#11 when you said "blah blah Emily gets triple word points..." and I thought you were just saying "blah blah blah" before talking about a girl named Emily.
Also, Kellen used to dance, which in retrospect is almost comical.

Haha, Kellen did used to dance, didn't he? I guess he's grown and changed a lot over these past few weeks.
