The BHSA Standing Committee on Alumni Relations and the Alumni Office invited students to a conversation with John Burris, class of '73. He is a noted civil rights attorney whose cases include the Rodney King civil suit against the City of Los Angeles and representation of the family of Oscar Grant. Burris spoke at Boalt, Berkeley Law, on November 18, discussing his career generally and his recent work in Alameda County, providing insights into client management, settlement negotiation, the rules of evidence, and much more.
