First generation BikeConsole iPhone bike mount was criticized for weak cover latch design. With the improved latch and side clips for the iPhone 4 version, we have conducted some drop tests, and here are the results

    Yes, but this dummy weighs the same as the real iPhone 4. It shows the cover of the BikeConsole won't open even with such an impact. Our purpose is not to show how well the iPhone 4 can survive a drop like this.

  • @timhowm a fake phone is not gonna break so it's not a drop test it's probably not worth buying if it ain't even a real iPhone in the case

  • Could you do everyone a favor, mount it on a bike, get on it, and then drive into truck.

    I bet you the iPhone will be still intact.

    It looks like one of the best bicycle mounts out there. I have to get one.
