  • you guys cleaned out the empty pool at Bombay beach. sick

  • I have been near the Salton Sea....I could smell death in the wind miles before we arrived to our destination. You only live once! DO NOT swim in the water!!!!!

  • @88super50notchback Actually only 12% of the sea's inflow comes from Mexicali via the New River, and by the time it makes it way to the Salton Sea, it has been diluted and has undergone natural treatment to the point that it is not considered the major safety hazard. Most of the pollution comes from pesticide runoffs and selenium. Pollution in the Great Lakes is way worse. We've been dumping chemicals in those lakes well before the Salton Sea was even formed, which occurred between 1905-1907.

  • he could die from swimminng in that sespool.

  • hes going to walk away with like 3 arms haha

  • we did a dip in the sea after a couple of drinks for a friends 40th birthday. We'll never forget that birthday. Dec 30th, 2008, cold and it was almost midnight when we did it.

  • haha this guy is awesome!

  • Pfft yeah, chicks get botulism injected into their faces these days. Eating botulism is perfectly safe, you're absolutely right.

  • Nope. More mis information. It is perfectly suited for swimming, according to the US Department of the interior and several years worth of environmental studies.
