Ahead of a Live and Interactive event at BFI Southbank on 3 Feb, presented by Sonic Cinema, director Adam Smith will be answering your questions. Soon after the submission deadline a video response will then make its way on to our YouTube channel.
Adam, who has worked with The Streets on some of their best known music promos and directed episodes of E4's Skins and the BBC's Dr Who and Little Dorrit, is often referred to as 'the third Chemical Brother' for his astonishing visual contribution to their live shows. His film The Chemical Brothers: Don't Think (also showing on 3 Feb) takes us on a magical psychedelic journey into the Chemicals' live experience.

Hi! I recently read something about a broken iPhone was used to project bug images on people and environment in the Don't Think "reality" scenes. How were those images projected? All with the phone or was there other gear used for those effects? Also, are there any films or directors you consider heroes that you draw inspiration from? Lastly, just wanted to say Thanks for all the mind bending visuals with the Chemical Brothers over the years!

I'm a fan of both Doctor Who and The Chemical Brothers. Good stuff!
My questions: How do you ensure that you bring out the aspects that Doctor Who scriptwriters (namely Steven Moffat) want to include, and do you apply your own spin to it on set?
Furthermore, as Chemical Brothers have composed for the film 'Hanna', do you think it's likely that, in future, they might compose something for Doctor Who?

Where do you find the incredible dancers for the videos and how often is it the same person? Are they choreographed or do you allow them to just do their thing?

Hi Adam! My quest is: where exactly you get the inspiration from??? is it from the music that you create those wonderful visuals or is it something else??? What's your biggest influence??? Thanks!
