Half of the population of the Philippines live in poverty. If multinationals were to pay the correct amount of taxes, the Philippines government would have more resources to help people like Wilson Manuba, a disabled fisherman who isn't getting the medical care he desperately needs to treat his life-threatening illness...




Christian Aid is calling on the UK government to take a lead at the G20 in tackling tax dodging by multinationals. Watch the video and email the Chancellor, Alistair Darling.

  • dont always blame the MNCs. do you really think the phil govt will help even if the resources would be availabe? you have to take internal corruption into account as well.

  • It is very difficult to watch. There are more ways than one to help these people and others as well not to starve and die prematurely.
