Man, I can never make that octave jump, so I just stay in the lower octave, just like the first run of that phrase, and I can still FC it. Took me about 18 tries to figure out that it's a full octave leap.

That's a good call on the octave thing. I think that if you sang it in perfect harmony it's guaranteed to bomb out, which is a shame because it really ends up being one of the more poorly adapted vocal tracks. Regardless, I enjoyed your take on it.
