  • @runninonempiy you feel alot of pain. one of our guys broke 2 ribs when he got hit but hey it beats being dead

  • It might stop the bullet but the user would have to continue fighting with collapsed lungs or broken ribs :D

  • @lazer1million Me too.

  • actually the 30-06 is a 7.62x66 the . 308 is a 7.62x51 which is smaller and less powerful than 30-06

  • @kbyecruzer 7.62x what? 30.06 is a 7.62x51 the ak round is 7.62x39 there is a huge difference in the 2 rounds.

  • does anybody know if this plate is comparable to the plate in Army IOTV's? I know ours are rated to 7.62 so probably a bit smaller than this

  • This isn't a multi hit ESAPI plate, just so you guys know. This plate that he tested was for armor piercing rounds, not a burst from a kalashnikov.

I would like to see how these level 4 plates hold up to multiple hits from 7.62x39 and 5.56 NATO, since most Americans have an SKS or WASR AK clone, and the police have M4s and old military rifles. .308 and 30-06 too, for the hunters.

I'm done fighting haji, and with the looming economic collapse and NDAA, I'm more worried about the "Homefront".

  • 7.62x54r is smaller. 30-06 is bigger. So there you go.

  • try hitting at 150 yds..i bet it goes in and out like butter

  • @FTWAnon yea but that's the difference between life and death

  • Why don't you show it being shot again? This would be a better video if you showed what will make it fail.

  • ESAPI?

BTW, 7.62x54 is in same class as .30-06 so this sort of protection is definitely needed for NATO/US troops.
