Welp they fixed it now.

you need to have the phone verticle for the acelerometer to work fast and you need to close apps you dont use regularly! The BB will run apps in the background unless you close them.

thats what i thought too.

the whole tilt lag is bias. your phone is tilted back slightly so it will take longer for it to switch from portrait to landscape and vise versa!! keep the phone vertical.. do not tilt it back as you turn it side to side and you'll be fine.

You probably got a shit load of shit open man!!! LMAO!!!

i have one and i have a newer one and its defiantly not that slow aslo you have a lot of apps open
-
it does take for ever ... I'm a owner of one and I've been disappointed
-
once you leave the app it automatically closes it, like for instance, AIM on iphone, once you press the home button, it signs you off, quite a bummer

lolol jutin9 it's moving slow cause ur a slow person :D
You know, I can't deal with the negative comments here. What do you want from this guy? He's showing a live shot of the Storm being a piece of shit. RIM needs to release an update quickly. I will note that the iPhone 2.0 software was crappy when released also... and in the same way that iPhone 2.0 felt like beta, I believe that the Storm was rushed out the door too soon. It'll get better, but for now, stick with the Bold or Curve if you need a real Blackberry.

Oh for.. this phone is an in store phone. They are played with constantly and people leave the apps open so it drags down the speed. If you just hit the "End" button, it won't close the apps. You have to hit the BB button and then click on "Close". Plus this is an old vid when the Storm was on the .65 OS which was glitchy. The new OS repaired the issues with the phone. I haven't had any issues at all with my Storm. It's truly the best device I've ever had.
