In my case it was a small chip that you solder into the board of the playstation that makes it always think a disc is a legitimate copy when it checks. Spyro 3 and a few other games have ways to check the game's authenticity once the game's started, and this often leaves the games not working or doing odd things like this.

To get around this, download a non-patched version (a guy has it posted on youtube) and make sure when you play the game on a modchipped console to eject it on the insomaniac logo aznd it will let you play. Zoe wont appear and say this either :D

@GoldfishFilms Actually, Sunrise Spring music in the Sorceress level was how it was originally in the first game. In the first game, many levels shared the same track. When the Greatest Hits version was released, each level got its own track and an egg bug was fixed.

@DovydasRybakas gameshark iso? if your're trying to play it on an emulator then the screen won't come up along with the PS2. but if you're playing the burnt copy on a Playstation then it will.

@DovydasRybakas very few Playstation games are copyright protected. when you load the burnt game a black screen will come up saying that your console has been modified. for some games there is a gameshark code to bypass it but if you don't have one you can simply perform a swap trick to bypass the screen and continue playing with the copied game.
