I think that you will need to change your turbocharger soon. When you go over 2500 rpm, turbocharger turns on and from your exhaust go black smoke, which is bad. I know that, because I was having an Opel Omega 96' with BMW engine with same problem. If you don't fix this, turbocharger start to send oil in cylinders and then engine will not start.

The Omega has almost 600.000 km on it now, still runs and starts perfect. Never had problems with the turbo yet. ;)

I don't know exactely what you polish guys are talking about. But a translator said that youre arguing about the temperature of the engine.

I can tell you that the Engine was already hot enough. I would never rev a cold engine like that. ;)

jeżeli masz zjebaną pompę wtryskową i źle ustawione dawkowanie to se nie pojeździsz. wiadomo że benzyna ma lepszy wykop a co do tego silnika który VW mu sie postawi??

@kingermanfool When I was on high-way, my friend with Peugeot 307 2.0 HDI try to race with me, but when I hit thortle to activate kick down, he couldn't see anything because from my exhaust came too much black smoke, but, Omega was faster :) My engine wasn't in good condition in that time, my turbocharger didn't work, my valves wasn't good (they was blocked on 2 cylinders), 2 pistons work good, 2 didn't work. In that condition, Omega much faster came to 170 km/h than Peugeot :)

Co prawda na koniec turbo było do regeneracji. Ale miałem takie same zdanie o tym silniku jak się przesiadłem z omegi "A" 2.0i 8v... Teraz jeżdżę volvo s60 d5 2,4 163 konie mam porównanie, jezdzilem jeszcze paskiem 1,9 i po tym co odczulem to stwierdzilem...

@sznajder1995 A na pewno miałeś wszystko dobrze z tym silnikiem? W swojej Omedze też mam 2.5 TD z automatem i naprawdę na dynamikę nie mogę narzekać.

Moc jak na tą pojemność też mistrzostwo? Moment obrotowy też mistrzostwo? Prędkość maksymalna z tym silnikiem też mistrzostwo? Miałem poprzednio Omegę "B" z 1997 r. z tym silnikiem 2,5 TD (TDS) 136 koni. Dźwięk co prawda jest bardzo miły dla ucha, ale moc i osiągi jak na taką pojemność są co najmniej mierne... Moment obrotowy jak w benzynie tej pojemności przy 90 na piątce żeby się rozpędzić do 130 to naprawdę trzeba mieć cierpliwość. Każde wyprzedzanie tira łączy się z redukcją biegu.
