Those people saying didn't the persains have chariots I think u r confusing this battle with the first of the major 3 battles between darius and Alexander there was a chariot charge in that 1 but it was easily repelled

I feel like the person controlling the Persians went a bit easy on them. The real Alexander had to devise ingenious and innovative ways of attacking the Persians to win Gaugamela, these guys won with a failed cavalry charge and a thinly spread frontline... They didn't even use any hammer & anvil attacks... I'm calling bullshit on this win.

@guilemaster147 ehh true. at least they won lol. thts all tht counts.

@PhalangitePower Games are a lot easier to play when you are directly giving orders. They have to relay the plans to others, which makes it 10x as difficult.

This is a key example of a good plan overcoming bad execution

they missed out the persian chariots attack

@emperorfrance Considering the way the AI tends to play, I highly doubt that.

Hm... It's true that the Diadochos states mostly survived until the Roman conquest, but battling each other, lavishing their strength in those fights, finally weakening themselves seriously enough to be destroyed by other nations. I don't think it's the way he wanted things to happen. But then again, who am I to guess what he thought? :) So I think we are both right, from two different points of view.
Anyhow, thanks for uploading this video, I enjoyed it very much. :)

@Atomnyul Doesn't change their status. That's like claiming the Roman Empire ceased to exist after 476 AD. In fact, the "Roman" Empire technically survived until the 1400s AD (though we tend to call it the "Byzantine" Empire in retrospect)
My point being, I'm obnoxious
