YES. I noticed the exact same thing when I lived with no TV for a few years. I didn't realize how clear-headed it made me until I was forced to live again with people that watched it all the time.
@RIHeron76 Almost any and everything shapes opinion. But you're right about one thing: youtube often shapes opinions based on "fiction" rather than facts. But at least many people are more confident in expressing their opinions online. Television doesn't have a comment section....these opinions influence us all and make us think a little more clearly. Whereas tv teaches everyone to think one way, and one way only. It shows how far our world has come in a way. depends on your view of worse
